Her smile is contagious. It attracts the hearts of people. When she smiles it reflects in her eyes with the innocence, she has inside her. She loves to go to school. She enjoys her time with her friends. She loves to play with them. There she expresses her versatility. Safa is very friendly with everyone.

Family Background

Safa is a child with disabilities and also from an underprivileged family. Her father is working as a night guard and her mother is a housewife. With a very low monthly income it is quite difficult for Safa’s family to bear her education, therapy, and doctor’s expenses.

Diagnosis

Safa has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy (CP) is a neurological disorder that affects a child's movement, motor skills, and muscle tone. In most cases, cerebral palsy is caused by brain damage that develops while the baby is still in utero or during or shortly after birth. Some common physical features of Cerebral palsy include: Slow, writhing movements. Delays in reaching motor skills milestones, such as pushing up on arms, sitting up or crawling. Favoring one side of the body, such as reaching with one hand or dragging a leg while crawling. Difficulty walking, such as walking on toes. Delays in speech development or difficulty speaking. Learning difficulties.

Safa's Difficulties:

Safa has difficulties moving, maintain balance and posture,  Problem with controlling her head and neck.  Her fine motor skills are also not developed.  She’s facing difficulties to eat and digest. Suffering from dental problem and for that she can’t chew anything. Safa also has been suffering from learning disabilities and needs extensive support.
