Rumpa can dance very well. Dancing brings her happiness and joy. She loves sports, participated in many sports events and received many prizes. Rumpa likes to draw and paint different things. It brings a beautiful smile in her face.

Family Background

Rumpa is a child with disabilities (Cerebral Palsy and Autism) and also from an underprivileged family. She lost her father and her mother is not mentally stable. Therefore, since her childhood she has been staying with her uncle & aunt. Her uncle is the only earning person of their family.  Rumpa has difficulties in studies and needs extensive support. Her uncle is a retired government worker who is unable to afford the expenses required to provide those support.

Rumpa's Difficulties:

Rump's fine motor skills are not developed and she has difficulty using her muscles .Also She has problem with speech and language.Also she becomes hyper and difficult to handle. Trembling hand and leg,uncontrolled movement (she faces difficulties to move, maintain balance).She also has silent epilepsy.Because of her learning disability she couldn’t read or write.

Diagnosis

Rumpa has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of 4. Cerebral palsy (CP) is a neurological disorder that affects a child's movement, motor skills, and muscle tone. In most cases, cerebral palsy is caused by brain damage that develops while the baby is still in utero or during or shortly after birth. She’s also diagnosed with autism, Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a developmental disability caused by differences in the brain. Children diagnosed with autism often lack social skills and are unable to interact with others. Some common physical features of Cerebral palsy (CP)- Slow, writhing movements. Delays in reaching motor skills milestones, such as pushing up on arms, sitting up or crawling. Difficulty with sucking or eating. Delays in speech development or difficulty speaking and learning difficulties. Features of Autism (ASD)-  Have trouble understanding other people’s feelings or talking about their own feelings. Flap their hands, rock their body, or spin in circles.
