Rimi loves to dance. It makes her smile and brings her happiness. She does it with full potential from her heart.She participated in many national and international events and also received many awards for dancing.

Family Background

Rimi is a child with disabilities and also from an underprivileged family. She lost her father in her childhood. Her mother is unemployed, though Rimi has two siblings; they abandoned her. They don’t have any source of income. It is quite difficult for Rimi’s mother to take care of her education, therapy, and doctor’s expenses.

Rimi has Learning disabilities. Short attention span and distractibility.She also has Dental problem. It is Difficult for her to eat and digest properly. Rimi has breathing issues.

Diagnosis

Rimi has been diagnosed with Down syndrome. Down syndrome is a condition in which a person has an extra chromosome. Chromosomes are small “packages” of genes in the body. They determine how a baby’s body forms during pregnancy and how the baby’s body functions as it grows in the womb and after birth. Some common physical features of Down syndrome include: A flattened face, especially the bridge of the nose. Almond-shaped eyes that slant up. A short neck and small ears. Small hands and feet and shorter in height as children and adults. Small pinky fingers that sometimes curve toward the thumb. Poor muscle tone or loose joints.
