Diagnosis:
Mostafa has been diagnosed with mild Intellectual Disability at the age of 4. Intellectual disability (or ID) is a term used when a person has certain limitations in cognitive functioning and skills, including communication, social and self-care skills. These limitations can cause a child to develop and learn more slowly or differently than a typically developing child. He also has Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It is one of the most common mental disorders affecting children.

Family Background:
Mostafa is a child with disabilities and comes from an underprivileged family. He has difficulties in studies and needs extensive support. He lives with his family in Dhaka. His father worka as a day labor. His mother is a housewife. As her father is the only earning member of their family he is unable to afford the expenses required to provide special support for Mostafa in education, therapies or doctor’s treatment.
