About Project Oikotan

Project “Oikotan” is designed for special needs individuals of Bangladesh. “Oikotan” is a discount card which will be offered to special need individuals only. The cardholder will be able to receive a discount on products and services from partnering companies and institutions. Products and services include, but not limited to services from hospitals, therapy centers, assistive device and technology products, dental care, eye care and therapeutic device sellers in Bangladesh.

Importance of the Project

This project aims to help the cardholders avail more support and services with a minimum discount percentage. Products & services for special need individuals are often very expensive and beyond many parents’ affordability. CHILD Foundation believes every special need individual must have access to all necessary services and there should be no discrimination. That is why CHILD Foundation took the initiative for the project “Oikotan”, which will help special need individuals.
