Parents have to face many challenges in raising a child diagnosed with autism. Such as communication issues, sensory sensitivities, behavioral challenges, and challenges with children not being able to navigate their behavior outside or at school. These problems create many worries in the lives of parents. Parents often struggle with finding the appropriate support services needed for their child which may lead to social isolation. Parents must be mindful of their work lives and personal lives to take care of children properly. Despite these challenges, parents can navigate through this journey of raising a child with autism if they build a strong support network, seek professional guidance, and embrace the unique strengths they have with their child’s diagnosis. resilience and hope.
Keeping all these important points in mind CHILD Foundation successfully executed this online interactive session for parents on the 30th of April and 1st of May, 2024.
