Dr. Roychoudhury is a Developmental Behavioral Pediatrician who is also board certified in Neurodevelopment Disabilities in Children in the USA. She has MBBS degree from North Bengal medical college India .She completed pediatric residency from St Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York. She earned her fellowship degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. Subsequently she was in the academic position of assistant clinical professor of pediatrics at the same institution.
She is currently the director of the only developmental & educational center in Queens, NY known as Medisys. In 2003, she started this program and at the present it has four full-time developmental pediatricians from different reputed universities.
She has twenty years of experience in working with developmental disabilities including, but not limited to, autism (ASD), attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, intellectual disability, speech and language disorders and other behavioral problems in children. In addition to evaluation and diagnosis of these children, she also provides education and counseling, academic intervention, behavior management /modification and medication management.
Dr.Roychoudhury is the consultant of CHILD foundation. Her services include but not limited to, performing diagnosis and periodic evaluation of children with special needs. She provides insights on individualized academic and personal goals to each child. In addition, she also conducts workshops in Bangladesh with a goal to create awareness and also share valuable resources to parents and practitioners. Her involvement and dedication in helping children with special needs has been remarkable and recognized throughout USA. We are very honored to have her support and guidance in CHILD Foundation.
